FHL 2019!

The FHL is Buffalo’s elite summer hockey league. The league began in 2005 and has grown into the premier, ten team league. Each team plays 10 games starting June 2019.

FHL features:
- 10 Games/Weeks plus 2 rounds of playoffs 
- All games at HarborCenter
- New Feature: 1 game per week, all games are Wednesday Nights
- Fast paced 5 on 5 non-check hockey.
- 15 Players per team (1953-2003)

- New Feature: No Rookies.  Rookie aged players can play if invited. 

- 15 skaters and 1-2 goalies per team

- All players are “signed” by one of 10 team captains
- Referees, scorekeepers and penalty shots
- FHL 2019 Jersey 
- Competitive Skill Level: NHL-AAA Midget players.
- Player and Team awards
- Team Captain System

- Online registration and payments only
- Unique 1:15 shift system, designed to push the pace

- Players of all ages are be eligible to be signed by team captains

- The league will no longer have multiple games per week

- Less restrictions, more exclusive

- Free Agent Skates will be setup before the season for skaters looking to join a team.
